Bike Rack I + II
While researching wall-mountable bike racks, I found a clean and simple metal frame design that sparked my imagination. Listed online as the “Michelangelo Two Bike Gravity Stand,” it inspired me to create my own design. I hand built my bike rack out of wood and designed it to support two full size road bikes.
A year later, and inspired by my first design, I created a second version as a gift to my cousin. Besides improving the racks spacing and how it mounts to the wall, I designed it to be very custom by subtly added his initials into the horizontal support bars. His initials are BP.
